BECHTEL VICTORIAN MANSION GETTYSBURG BED AND BREAKFAST Just a short drive from Gettysburg, in the National Historic District of East
Berlin, is the Bechtel Victorian Mansion Bed & Breakfast. Built in 1897 for a wealthy businessman/banker, the Inn is the
largest home in East Berlin. The Inn features original oak, cherry, and chestnut woodwork, including built-in wardrobes,
pocket doors, and transom windows, as well as original brass chandeliers and etched glass. Our four bedrooms and two suites are decorated in country Victorian style with a mix of antiques and newer furniture, each room with a unique decor of period wallpapers or stenciling. Each room has a private bathroom and A/C, with either a queen or a king bed. Prices range from $115 to $175 per night. Guests are treated to delicious homemade cookies or cakes with tea or lemonade upon arrival.
